The program for KM World 2011 in Washington DC Nov. 1 - 3 has been released and registration is now open. I have attended many of these events, and presented at the first three as well as many others since then. Last year was the first one in Washington DC and attendance was up on a significant basis over the previous year. We attended last year’s event to receive the KM Promise Award for the Darwin Awareness Engine™ that was greatly appreciated.
There is a great list of speakers this year including our friends: Patti Anklam, Jane Dysart, Jordan Frank, Stan Garfield, Cindy Gordon, Claude Malaison, Sameer Patel, Katrina Pugh, Gordon Vala-Webb, Thomas Vander Wal, and many others. We plan to attend again this year. It is, among other things, a great reunion and place to meet new people in the field. We hope to see you there.
The Fall 2011 Enterprise Search Summit is again co-located and sharing the keynotes. This is another great event and the place where we did our first significant session on the Darwin Awareness Engine. There are a number of interesting sessions in the program and I am sure I will be attending some of them.
Here are my notes from the Fall 2010 session of these two conferences.
